When you end up tagged as Spice Boy there comes a time when you have to re invent yourself !
It's his lucky number and has connections with the family as has been pointed out.
Footballers often use squad numbers for marketing etc - and a certain Mr Beckham did ok with 23.
Sports people are often a superstitious lot.
