Best advice all year.!
If you had purchased £1000 of Northern Rock shares one year ago it would now be worth £4.95,
with HBOS, earlier this week your £1000 would have been worth £16.50,
£1000 invested in XL Leisure would now be worth less than £5,
BUT if you bought £1000 worth of Tennents Lager (or similar beverage of yer choice) one year ago,
drank it all,
then took the empty cans to an aluminium re-cycling plant,
you would get £214.
So based on the above statistics the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and re-cycle.

Not to mention the disability money you'd get when you drink yourself into such a state that you'd never recover from.

Re: SOUND ECONOMIC ADVICE DURING CURRENT CLIMATE
The only problem is the cans are mainly made of mild steel these days and are virtually worthless. The world economy is in a shocking state so the only safe bet is to have your money in the major banks earning very little, but its not losing you a fortune. Property used to be a sound investment but ppl are losing a lot of money right now.
