I started betting on boxing last year. I got a few grand when I turned 18 and didn't really have anything to spent it on. My first bet was actually Mosley -DLH 2... I had Mosley in that 1. Ever since, i've kind of been addicted. I've had a few wins... Gomez
, Chi (beating brodie) and a few others but recently I've lost 2 pretty big ones. I had Golota beating Byrd and Sanders-Klit not going further than 5 rounds. Overall I'm 150 down.
I think betting on LIVE underdogs is the way to go. I was going to heavily back Pinto if he came over for Hatton.
My plan for the next few weeks is 200 on JMM to beat Pacquaio by KO. Then if I win I'll put 600 on RJJ to beat Tarver. You can get RJJ at 1/7.
Chop Chop Corley might be worth a little bet against Pretty Boy on May 22. He's 25/4!

i tend to go with scott on this one.....
SCOTT HARRISON has accused lippy rival William Abelyan of being all mouth and insisted he's using fighting talk to disguise the fact he's running SCARED.
The Cambuslang class act will take on the American-based Armenian at the second time of asking after Abelyan pulled out of their last scheduled bout through injury.
And the cocky challenger has had plenty to say ahead of the May 29 clash at Braehead for Harrison's WBO featherweight title.
But Scott hit back: 'He did plenty of mouthing off before pulling out in March. It tells me he isn't confident he's trying to talk himself up by sounding self-assured.'

The thing is though, with Harrison, I have really tried to be fair when watching him, I give him no unfair stick, etc.... but in all honesty, I just can't see anything about him that makes me think, "WOW!"
I think he fights like a robot, has no logic, no agility, very little movement, average speed and no good scalps on his record. (Unless you think by beating an ancient Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Tracy Harris Patterson or Steve Robinson earns you the right to call yourself world class!)
In fact, I think his strength and size are the only two things he really has going for him.
I am not saying this just because I don't like him, but I honestly do not think he has what it takes to become a world champion, or even stick around in the top 10!
And just for some of the users on this forum who don't know any better, lets not kid ourselves here, Scott Harrison is NOT a world champion! He is a WBO champion. The WBO is not a legitimate world title.

Im a Scott Harrison fan(Craig Docherty is my fave fighter though 8) ), but I must admit that even I am filled with trepidation concerning this fight.
Any american bloke that you read on the forums that has seen Abelyan raves about him.. His speed is supposed to be blinding.
I also know a guy in Aberdeen who sends away for tapes(he wont send me a copy, hes an idiot that way but everyone knows someone like that
) but he says he has a couple of Abelyan fights including his fight with Espadas & he said Abelyan was phenomenal in that fight & Scott will have terrible time with him because he is so fast & tricky & hits hard
He says that Scott will be lucky if he even makes the final bell :(
It sounds like it will be some fight because Scott is a teak tough slugger & Abelyan the showboating guy with the skills to back it up
This could be like Hagler & Leonard the more I think about it!!
