Its interesting to read the list of guys who apparently turned down a chance of fighting Audley including Paolo Vidoz, Steffen Nielsen, Wladimir Virchis (Oh and Kevin McBride!!!!)

Important to bear this in mind before complaining too much about Popov.

Fair play Nasty that's a good list.

Popov is slightly better than I expected but not as good as I'd hoped for.

I'ts a fair match but not one to get too excited about. Howver if Harrison doesn't fight the type of fighter as listed above within the next 6 months I will be very disappointed.

Nasty might be a little crazy but i agree with his list, Harrison really needs to be fighting someone beatable but solid like Ray Austin or Timo Hoffmann who is at least a name we recognise, Michael Grant i doubt would come to Britain unless the money was great and anyway his chin is more shot than a clay pigeon and the Americans know it so beating him will cut no ice with anyone. As for this Popov guy well....it's a poor fight as far as i am concerned.

Nasty's list is alright but I wouldn't fancy some of his propsed oponents.

Danell Nicholson can't be classed as a challenge.
Hoffman is out of the picture as he is set to fight Krasniqi.
Grant and Clifford I'm pretty certain have both fought recently. Grant supposedly wants Mesi too so hes hardly going to settle for Audley.

I am old enough to remember John McDermott's dad, Stan, in action. God, he was a banger. And God, he was chinny. I wonder if John has inherited his father's chin and Popov is massively flattered by his win.
Just a thought.

The thing is Audley better start praying that JASON ESTRADA dosen't win the Olympic Gold Medal for the USA at Super Heavyweight in athens.

Why? Well, If Estrada wins, the American's won't give a Fu~k about Audley anymore because Estrada is everything Audley isn't in terms of his marketability. First of all, he's young and has model looks, he has cross over apeal for the Hispanic, black and white communitties and most of all he's American!

Its gonna be so funny in Athens when Audley is asked what he's been doing for the last 4 years and he replies that he's won the World Title(WBF)!

Harrison is ready for Krasniqi now, and I think he would knock him out.

agreed. 'mr limited' may be a bit harsh but audley's combinations would be a nightmare for luan. could be competitive though if krasniqi performs like he did against the turkish lump.

I do stick up for Audley quite a bit but in fairness this May 8th date has been known for some time so they have had plenty of time, at least 6-8 weeks.

Harrison will run out of gas like Wladimir after the 6th round. So Luan would be easily win. Harrison must stop immediately fighting "A-Farce" or fixing fights two weeks before they happen. His team is unprofessional.

Bubi read the press relaease before posting cr@p. Popov has know for over a month that he may face Audley. And as for Audley tiring after 6 rounds. lol, Audley is training with 3 sparring partners who have nearly 100fights among them and only 7losses, Duncan Dokiwari, Friday Ahunanya and Vaughn Bean. Who is Krasniqui gonna be sparring with. Start planning for Harrison Krasniqui Bub and start preparing your apology post to all the Audley fans.

I think UBP has a lot of excellent boxers in heavy and has proven to reach the top in heavy. so they are able to prepare Luan as well. The one Luan has beaten last is a guy who was ranked under the top 15 in the WBC, WBA and WBO I think. Harrison hasn´t boxed a guy like Sam till now. jameswilson, look what the realities are. has Harrison ever boxed over 12 rounds? fornicate. Where is he ranked in WBC,WBA,WBO or IBF? If there will be a fight, ok. the better one will win. so what. apology? for what? this is a sport. and some people have different opinions. so what. I don´t have any problem with you Harrison-fans. I only think he is overhyped and overrated compared to other boxers. He is 32 years old and hasn´t reached nothing at all till now. just facts. no state-affair.

Where is Harrison ranked in the main titles rankings he isnt, simple. I didnt want an apology for your opinions but surely if you say someone is 'overhyped', 'he will get tired after 6rounds', 'his team is unprofessional'. That is what warrants an apology when Audley proves this wrong. If you ask me his team are absolutely top class, since Audley hired Thell Torrence as head trainer, Auds skills have shot through the roof, Calvin Audley's brother has shown what he can do for Auds conditioning by getting Audley into the ring as ripped as can be for his last fight. On the promotional side Hazel Bruno-Gilbert and the rest of Audley's promotional team have always set up top fight cards, in his last one there was a European title on the line and that was the undercard. Bub your a good lad but it is not Audley who is overhyped.

If the Krasniqi-Harrison figh tever happens and takes place in England, I promised to come over and watch it. So, jameswilson, I´ll pay some beers if Harrison wins as a kind of respect. I hope you´ll join the fight, too. But if Krasniqi beats Brewster in Summer, I don´t think he would figt Harrison this year. We´ll see.
