Re: RE: Olympic Photos
Thank you - I have some others up now at http://www.lightstalkers.org/galleries/slideshow/15237 . Next week I have a meeting with the art gallery at Chulalongkorn University's. They're one of the most respected galleries in Bangkok and it looks like it's a done deal, so I'm grateful I was able to go and able to get some good shots.rmz wrote:Nice photos Scott, I especially liked the opening ceremony ones.

The picture of the punch Cammarelle Kod Zhilei with is awsome, very rarley do you actully get a shot of the knockout punch while its landing, very cool.

Re: RE: Olympic Photos
Funny thing about that shot - it was the very last punch of the Olympics. By the time I got back to the photo workroom in the Media Village, the photo was sold to an Italian newspaper. A couple of other photographers got a decent shot of the KO, but it was at a different angle and not quite as dramatic. So I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.

RE: Olympic Photos
I, along with one other photographer who were at the Beijing Olympics will have an exhibition showcasing our Olympic photos in Bangkok, Thailand beginning October 27th and running through November 21!
The organizer is attempting to get one or more Thai Olympians to come to the opening, hopefully medalists, so if you happen to be in Bangkok during this time, feel free to come by and take a look. Please let your friends, family, or anyone else know about the event.
I’ll have more information in the near future, at this time we’re in the beginning stages of putting together the event.
