Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
I think this program has reached its limits and should be scrapped, the prizefighter format is far better.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
Cruiser line up seems a bit better. Obviously Cora is the fave. Talented bloke, didn't fulfil his potential, had some very good fights: another chance. Wish there were a few more Cora level fighters.

Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
Troy Ross stands out for me.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
He seems to have more upside, Ross. Cora seems to be the class. He had 2 excellent fights with Michael Simms, when Simms was good. Then lost that war with Tokarev, a wild fight that was swinging this way and that until Cora was stopped. Ironically, Cora lost to the promising Godfrey, who also got outhutled by a hungrier, less talented European, Kraj.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
I'm going with Rico Hoye.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
From his showing against Diaconu I would say no chance. I reckon Cora or Darnell Wilson.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:I'm going with Rico Hoye.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
Seems a pretty awful line-up.Ding-A-Ling Man to win.
Re: Contender 4 Cruiserweights
I think Cora's vastly superior to Wilson and Hoye. Hoye might get really worked over as he's been stopped twice as a light heavy.
