That fight came a little early for Azumah, but was indeed a great match up.

I think as was previously mentioned, Sanchez v Gomez takes the biscuit, even if Gomez was moving up in weight.

Hopkins v Toney, Toney was at his peak then, and I think will go on to be an all time great when he whups Vitali.

How about Floyd Mayweather jnr ( a future all time great surely) against Corrales (A later day Hearns? Might be stretching it a bit there).

Its so rare two undefeated young guns face off, it will live long in the memory.

I said it just missed out, although I would have thought it was more like the other way about.

Hopkins was a world champion and judging by how close he kept Jones would have got all the wins he did later on his career, back then. He didn't have the opporunity (no decent fighters) to showcase his talents back then.

Like who? Jones Jr/Toney/whittaker/Chavez....hardly.

Even Naseem generally fought a better level of competition, Benn faced a few top notch american fighters, but that's about it, Eubank fought almost exclusively against European fighters.
