I was impressed by Beans power. But i never saw a boxer so out of shape. Was he always like this?
Ok the guy can punch like a bear, but his body is best fit for Sumo.
Can he handle a fast moving opponent skilled in slipping slow power punches? I shudder to think what Chris Bird would have done to him.
Entertaining fighter with that bear-like punching power, but a slow one. His weight might ko his heart one day.
:(

Re: Butterbean v/s Potter (youtube)
I know he's an irrelevant sideshow but I have to suggest that this fella will do boxing a terrible ill if he continues, regardless of whether this is unsanctioned boxing, if this fella dies in the ring, which is a real possibility in my opinion, then he will strike a huge blow against the sport.
Obviously, nobody wants to see the guy unable to make a living and I dont wish to put his health beneath the good of the sport, but seriously, he is profile enough to get major press coverage if he gets seriously injured or collapses in the ring.
Far more than competent professionals we've lost in recent years.
Had that been allowed to continue Potter would have marmalised him and Potter is long retired.
He needs to go back to the Mid-West and fight 4 round exhibitions with other rolly polly's.

Just a Swiss boxing fan. Sorry mate, no copyright or screen name infringement was intended. Im relatively new here, i didnt see your screen name before so when i registered i chose the name of my favorite punch. It was still available, so i registered with it as my yscreen name. Im sorry that our screen names are similar. Im sure the regulars will not confuse us. There was no ill intent on my part.overhand_right wrote:Who the FOOK is this new 'Overhand'???
