Sad thing is Scrap, it's not the only time Chris has done it. He did the same thing in front of me at Atlantis bar in Brighton. Everyone laughed at him, so he left.

Can you remember much about the build up to the Paul Ryan/Ross Hale fight.
I am from Bristol and trained with Ross a little at the time and always thought Ross was a little intimidated by Paul.
I went to all his fights apart from that one-I had a bad feeling about that one.

He is a strange one is Chris, does some crazy things. There was a time when I thought He was stalking me, turn up in the Gym and demand I take Him on the Pads. There for 3 days then go and turn up a month later asking me to do something Id no intention of doing and me telling Him to F*ck off. Having said all that I think He is terriffic, good principles and Genoerous to a fault. I use to take the Lads to His House for Sparring, He had this room stacked with Training gear and He told everyone to Help themselves and did They DD . Good old Russell Athletic. Still got a Top

Before the Spaniard nobody could Hit Him even in the Gym and He was a Great Trainer. But at that time everything had gone to His head and He stopped Listening. So I got him Hypnotised to listen and He did, Looked good that night. Then He went and Left the camp, Pratt, but Love Him, Now doing very well

Scrap , whos's the best boxer at training you've been involved with, i don't mean the most talented, but the guy who trained the hardest.

Jesus Ian, theres so many different takes really, all were individuals. The three I had to watch from overdoing it were Paul Ryan, Clinton Woods and Terry Dunstan and maybe Scott welch. Colin was no trouble before the Shoulder went and three operations later He still had problems, but got on with it'.. But the guy who was a Workhorse was Corny Carr unbelievable worker, never got what He deserved, the Best Proffesional Ive worked with. He lived the Life 100%.

Who are you training at the moment Howard?
Any involvment with Terry Dunstan"s return to boxing after being released recently?

Rpms, Yes Im looking after Terry again. At first I didnt want to know Tel is like my own Son. When I read in the Papers what He did to that Girl I lost it. Then I had a tipoff That she under oath said it wasnt Him and the DNA evidence said it wasnt Him. So we got the court charge Papers and found that He wasnt Charged with the offence. Hes in Nick, the Girl wants to go back to Australia got no Money, but the papers are there offering some for a story. Thats the truth 100%. Plus before the Mayfield Fight the previuos evening He was seen in a Nightclub at 4 in the Morning, so for the Thompson Fight I didnt have to much input for the fight and let Arthur deal with it. But terrys Family and Ive never seen Him so Focused and Fit, Ive got no worries, I think He will do Himself Proud

I always had time for Chris as a fighter because of Peter and Simon, his brothers (twin brothers), who were equally talented and durable but got slung in and never got the breaks. Peter beat McGuigan.
