lennox lewis on the night he fought glenn mccrory back in 1991 :TU: lewis was one mean looking soul brother on that night  16 and a half stone of solid muscle and a mean look in his face and mccrory looked petrified. that one will always get my vote.

Lol, one of the ,ost intimidating things i have seen is when Andrew Golota got floored against Lennox Lewis. His face scared the shit out of me!!! I'd be like 'Shit i just made him angry'...as it was, he was out of it. :x

Vitali Klitschko has got to be intimidating, because of the lack of emotion on his face, and his 6ft 7 frame.

That Wayne Braithwaite looks pretty fearsome, until he does that stupid dance.

Guzman, Mayorga and Hopkins are all good shouts.

Active fighter or all-time?

All-time I'd have to go with Liston, though guys like Foreman and Duran were certainly also right up there.

Active I'd go with Hopkins - even Jones admits to having been a bit intimidated when they fought a decade ago. "He's an intimidating dude," I believe is the exact quote.

Mayorga? Get the f*** out of here. Spinks was so intimidated by KO Mayo, he just happened to wind up giving him a boxing clinic. Mayo is all badass attitude and no skill. Duran (who Mayo apparently fancies himself as being like) hit at least as hard, was meaner, and had outstanding boxing skills. That was an intimidating combination even at the highest level, where being a one-dimensional badass cuts no ice.

Joe Louis beat more opponents before they got in the ring with him than any other fighter. Here he gives the stare to Jimmy Braddock.

Well Tyson obviously has that whole persona around him Its about the only thing he's had for many years...
Tony Ayala was another guy who was scary in and out of the ring..
For my money however the best of the intimidators was Aaron the Hawk Pryor ..and that pointing the glove at his opponent number he used to do..

Iran Barkley always looked like one serious mean dude to me. I remember him prowling and growling around the ring pior to battering Darren Vann Horn,

That night he just looked so intimidating he freaked me out just watching it on TV! :o

In some ways I find Holyfield intimidating. Him ignoring Tyson and singing to himself was pretty scary.
