why did chris eubank have his first 5 fights in america
just looked at his record and noticed this,why?was there a reason?
To cut a long story short... young christopher was a bit of a tearaway during his younger days. his mother had left his father a few years prior and ended up sttleing in ney york. his father felt that if chris didnt get away from his environment he'd end up in the jail or even worse. so he sent him to live with his mum.

Yes it is, i picked it up from ASDA for £9.97 which was good considering Waterstones and other internet bookshops were quoting a hefty £20 and beyond. It wanes a little at times, especially at the end as Eubank neglects in depth fight analysis and prefers to bombard us with his "morals" and beliefs etc But on the whole it is good, as Steve Bunce said for the early years on it's own.

would anyone here call chris 'great'? it's tempting at first, it seems reasonable to see him as a great, but in reality, with his leaky defence, a few controversial decisions and the fact he didn't take on the very best when he had opportunities, says otherwise.
very good fighter though, first class heart, natural fighting spirit. would've made a mockery of sven ottke.

Good book I agree. He's interesting when he writes about his fights, unlike Benn he doesn't just skate over them ( and move onto his sex life. Benn that is )
Very honest account too. But that account of him making friends with a tramp and hiring him as his butler was pretty bizarre!
