Nottinghamshire potential prospect.

Post by damianhucker1 »

thought that headline would draw a few people!!!!
basically as ive said on a previous post i was looking into starting a promotional company until realised it was far more complicated than 1st thought so delayed it at least for time being . one of the guys i was going to sign was a former super middleweight who won the ABA championship twice in his late teens but then never went pro and slipped out of boxing all together , he has got himself fit via jogging , weights etc but has been out of it for a good 6 years and doesnt know where to start as regards to finding a pro gym in notts , hes going to manage himself for the timebeing but needs somewhere to train , hes a light heavy nowadys , hes not got an ounce of fat as his natural body and is 6ft 2" , he really is good but had no one to guide him and became a layabout to be honest think if he had gone pro early not sure he could have handled it and might have gone a bit like nicky booth but is fine now , 28 years old just needs a gym etc in notts and wants to make his pro debut this year , any suggestions guys??????????

Same, but he isn't allowed to box pro yet, and apparently he's "too good for the amateurs"
