ANother 1 of your dreams that wont happen Autobarn, Margarito is being managed away from these types of fights now
What are my other dreams that won't happen? Floyd Mayweather Sr making sure his fighters are in shape?

Of course, Margarito has been made WBA super champ, which means less tough mandatories, more big cash ins like Cotto II. I'm well aware of that. (It's more of a theoretical thing for me - I wonder how much better Martinez would cope.) The Clottey fight seems to have disappeared, etc etc. If Margarito ever moves back up to 154, I think Forrest would be really interesting. Both guys can sort of pick & choose...within reason.

Nice one Martinez, but rediculous how an interim title was on the line - the main belt was won by Forrest a couple of weeks ago.

Forrest-Mora rematch got in the way. Martinez has been mandatory for aeons. Hopefully Martinez challenges Forrest as it's getting daft.

WBC should have stripped Mora then.

I hope we can finally get to see Martinez in some top class clashes now he's got a title (although it didn't do Junior many favours). Haven't seen anything of Martinez in action since he came over here and demolished Williams twice and Stone, but he looked awesome in doing that.

Didn't realise that Jamie Moore was chasing a fight with Martinez, respect to Jamie for that it was a brave move, but it would have made for an excellent fight.

Martinez is good, but being "good" is not all that matters to be a star.

Mores the pity.

Dibella has to create the openings. I am sure Martinez was once with GBP and I always thought that was just Oscars way of not fighting him.

I would give Martinez a brilliant chance against Oscar ' De la Chicken Tikka Anna Kournoikova' Hoya.

Lets hope Martinez gets the fights he needs.

I'd back him against anyone in the division right now.
