Hold on - so Hide misses out cause of a poor opponent, but Rhodes is in after a realitve struggle against Jamie Coyle?

Coyle had won his last 6 fights including wins over Delehedy and Butlin and has a record of 16-4-1. Hide beat Kosobokovs, who doesn't seem to have beaten anyone with more than one win and has a record of 12-10.

So, in my opinion the win over Coyle was the better result.

Sorry 26, nothing personal against Rhodes - just for weeks you have been critical of Rhodes' exclusion and Horse has been adamant for his reasoning.

Personally I don't think beating Jamie Coyle, especially in the fashion that Rhodes did, warrants any gains in the list - whether he should have been in the top 30 in the prior to the fight is a different matter. Similarly with Danny Williams' frankly awful showing against McDermmott - that should not have resulted in gains.

Personally, I think Hides' win over May warranted a top 30 position and he has stayed active since.

He is eligeble to fight for the british strap as many english men are entitled to fight for the irish belt, he is as irish as duddy and he wears a shamrock on his shorts ( i think ) which would indicate his Irishness.

The British title doesn't work in the same way as the Irish title though. I don't think there has ever been any serious talk about Duddy fighting for the British belt, so I think the situation is different with Lindsay.

Their performances might not have been impressive, but at least they won and added another decent name to both of there records. I would rather have fighters win and look bad than not fight at all.

Out of sight, out of mind. I haven't been watching Hide's recent fights, so perhaps I have not given him the credit he deserves. He's back in Britain now, so maybe I won't overlook him anymore.

John Murray hasn't fought in the last month, so I couldn't add him into the top 30.

A win over Derry Mathews is better than a win over Lee Meager in my opinion, so that is the main reason why Lindsay is in the list and Murray isn't. Lindsay is also arguably the top featherweight in Britain, Murray is not the top lightweight.
