Has the next great Heavyweight Champion turned Pro yet?

Seriously I just can't see anyone out there who seems capable of reigning as a long term Heavyweight Champion in a Lewis/Tyson/Holmes way.

To me Byrd, Klitscho and Ruiz are just our era's version of Tate, Weaver and Coatzee.

Holyfield, Tyson are both past the best by a long way.

Harrison may win a 'World' title but can't see him reigning for a long time.

Mesi may never fight again.

Quinn, a contnder at best.

Tua if he comes back may still win a Title but can be outboxed.

Toney, Golota, Barrett, Beck, Ettienne, Greenberg, Hide, Valuev, Gomez, Jirov etc etc just can't see too much happening there.

I've always tried to remain optimistic about the Big boys but for the first time ever I just don't see ANYONE AT ALL out there.

I'm sure there will be some good fights, there always is but I don't see a dominent Heavyweight out there on the horizon. I've got a horrible feeling we could be in for 5 years of Heavyweight Title pass the parcel.

Starting to here some praise about the US Olympic Representive Calvin Brock. I'm not sure about him (never seen him fight apart from in the olympics, where I wasn't impressed). He stands at 6 foot 2 and wieghs around 230 lbs so he's in fairly decent shape.

Start off his career fighting bigger stiffs than what Harrison has, but will be picking it up significantly when he takes on Duncan Dokiwari who did very well vs Guinn.

Some of the prospects touted in various areas are a joke, i was lead to believe Malik Scott was decent but he can't even punch properly, whcih Barry McGuigan picked up on after his fight with Clinton Johnson. I agree, there are no hopes from any of the afforementioned fighters IMO.

I forgot to mention Ruslan Chagaev, i was impressed by him as an amateur, anyone reckon he can go any further?

I must admit that's who I was going to mention. However, haven't seen him in action as a pro so I'm more curious than anything else.

despite he wins against the great Felix Savon, i dont expect too much from him. He doesn't look anything special. He's only 6ft 1 now days, it seems you have to be alot bigger than that to dominate as a heavyweight.
