No!

Channel Five look like they are stopping the boxing - just when we are about to see a geniune world title fight.

I was checking the schedules and it looks like Travis Simms is fighting on ESPN 2 at the end of the month.

Checkout the channel five schedule, and there doesn't seem to be any boxing for the next two weeks.

Whats going on.

ESPN is now paying promoters $15,000 a show (down from $50,000 a show)

It's not actually Travis Simms fighting it's his not-so-hot brother Tarvis.

Still it's a bloody shame if Five have given this the shove for good. We've seen some good fights over the last couple of years, and a handful of decent prospects coming through.

And what makes it all worse is that Five are still going to show utter CRAP like Nascar, Ice Hockey and American Football.

Some of the one-liners in the the Simpsons are stupendous. That Tatum/Tyson character said: "I'm recognized as world heavyweight champion by seven of the 19 sanctioning bodies." Brilliant.

Millhouse: "The Statue of Liberty! Where are we?"

Another funny one was when Lisa developed a crush on that abnoxious bully who goes "Haaa, haaa!"
"Why are you being nice to me?" he asked her. "Are you wearing a wire!"

Mendula: My husband doesn't have any money.

Divorce Lawyer: Are you sure? Because I am allowed to hold him by his ankles and shake him. That was established in Lawyers Vs Good. Ohhh, that was a great day for us...

or

Divorce Lawyer: Tell me, are there any children involved?

Mendula: 8. Will that make a difference?

DL: *splutter* Excuse me. *climbs onto desk and starts dancing a jig*

:D :D Best show on telly.

I saw it on the TV guide on the Sky digital, not a particularly good one this week. No, I am not getting it mixed with the night of kombat thingy.

Five are back! Although its only Saverese' latest fight. They are showing it on Wednesday night.

Hopefully, we will get the Harmon vs Telesco bill which features Simms.

Excellent. I've been suffering from Teddy Atlas withdrawal lately.

God that sounded gay.
