Al Sparks has passed away at the age of 75 on 9-29-08. Does anyone here remember him?

Yes, I met him in 1969 when he visited the Firefighters Boxing Club training facility in Vancouver.
I asked him to spar with a friend of mine who was a novice heavyweight boxer.
Al was kind enough to spar with him, and took it very very easy.

Thanks Al for taking the time to give the novice boxer a thrill and a golden memory.
