Given the fighters they promote and the resources they have which of the big promoters is giving the best value for money.Who is prepared to make the most competitive matches and put their fighters in 50/50 fights.
Who also supplies a good quality undercard regardless of wether a title is on the line.

I voted for FW, I have heard he pays his fighters well, which is something. Might not be the best promoter in terms of titles etc. However, all boxers deserve to earn as much as they can - and FW delivers in that respect.

In terms of granting meaningful title and making good on your promises, then Barry Hearn or Fight Academy deserves the nod.

I too voted for FW because from a boxers point of view he delivers the most, and that is what their after, otherwise they’d have stayed in the amateurs.
That isn’t to say I think he is the best for boxing or the boxing public though.

Stu its true Frank pays slightly more than other promoters at the bottom to middle level,at the top level he pays the top few fighters like Hatton,Calzaghe and Nelson they are all on very very good money in fact more than the fight is actually worth.But once a fighter hits a title level the money will be the same.
For instance someone like Gomez would get the same for a British Title fight as he would a WBU World title fight,and u may say "i cant believe that" but then Gomez is getting twice as much as they would pay anyone else for a British title fight.He will never get more than that say unless he moves up another level,WBO,WBC etc.
You have to remember any purse increase for the fighter indicates a profit decrease for the promotor.

i have voted for Barry Hearn, as I believe he is making good fights for his fighters..Brodie and Williams have been tested against excellent hungry fighters and provide a good yardstick for us to see how they really compare withtheir world rated contemporaries.
Indeed we hear over the past few days that Magee versus Reid is a WBA title eliminator.
So value for money my vote goes to Barry Hearn..

The fact is though, that Sports Network continually sell out arenas, on a more consistant basis.
They have more name and marquee fighters than any other company in the UK IMHO.
So for these facts alone the "best" and most successful promotor is FW at Sports Network.(again IMHO)

could have sworn Scotland and Wales were in Britian.

if what you mean is that you meant promoters who put on shows throughout Britain id be curious to know what shows Mick Hennessy has promoted in Scotland, Wales or N. Ireland likewise with UK Presents and Barry Hearn.

Tommy Gilmour has been involved with promotions up and down the British Isles though based predominantly in Glasgow

Wales is, but as for you lot up there....

I've had a bit of a soft spot for Tommy Gilmour for a while now. His fighters are rarely involved in blatant mismatches, and as you said his shows are on the whole very good. He always comes across as a guy that really cares about his fighters, you can it on his face when he's sat at ringside. Out of the British promoters he always seems like the nicest guy.

I've been to a few Hennessy shows and intend to go many more. For my money the whole card is normally worth watching, unlike Sportsnetwork.

Eugene Maloney's small hall shows at York Hall and other venue's deserve a mention too. Excellent value!

Gilmour comes under the BARRY HEARN banner,I should have stated clearly that the poll is for the BIG FOUR PROMOTERS who have TV.
As Heenessy and Harding are the biggest with the BBC I gave fight acadamey a miss
