They weigh in was class. Nas fans wearing Big ears and Hardy just laughed it off, proclaiming he had too much for Nas. Come fight night, Nas absolutley blows Hardy away in 1 round. Hilarious.
#2. McNeely vs Tyson...
McNeely was confident in this fight, but got blasted out The stairdown was a classic. McNeely was hilarious rushing at Tyson trying to KO him in the 1st round.
Emmanuel Burton was hilarious at times against Trujillo.
The look on the face of Echols when he got decked by Brewer is funny too - he looks at the ref as if to say "Aren't you going to take a point off him? He just hit me in the face!"
Saw Eubank once in a fight with a hapless American (think it was Ron Malek) and he was prancing around the ring like he was the second coming of Ali. It was genuinely funny.
Bowe-Holyfield. As dangerous as the fan man was, i cant help but laugh everytime i see it. So random. Also, at the end of a few of the rounds, Evander and Riddick continued trading. Their trilogy was so entertaining.
Eubank-Benn 2, before the fight when they are both posing at each other.

haha yeah wasnt there some geezer from northampton who got done for a similar thing think he wa sa wetler weigth or similar, he caused a big upset a few years back but wasnt all that just a nutter (literally) used to dye his hair leopard skin spots / tiger stripes as I recall. frigg what was his name any clues , bennie????
another couple. Mayorga-Forrest 2, when Mayorga let Forrest hit him on the chin with 3 or 4 punches. And Nate Campbell-Robbie Peden in March, when Campbell stuck his chin out showboating, and Peden punished him.

One that made me laugh, was when Tyson tried to nut Holyfield in the first fight - and ended up hurting himself!

He was from Northamptoopn had a silly haircut as described and was right headcase he beat someone for a paper title (wbf) or similar bout 2 years back when he was supposed to just turn up and roll over but didnt. It looked a total mismatch on paper. Then who got beat and in a comeback he was so bad and dirty in the ring with his head literally headvbuttitng on the break as it was being called and I dont mean rubbing heads I mean taking a proper headbutt.
I was at an early Richie Woodhall fight in Telford in 1991. On the undercard was a Welsh Lightweight Seth Jones making his Pro debut.
What seemed a few seconds into his bout with John O'Johnson, Seth let loose with a HUGE headbutt that sent a loud crack around the small hall. The ref promtly disqualified Seth Jones.
Jones made no attempt to hide the butt, It was staight out of 'Boys From The Black Stuff'. "Giz a job!"
It must have hurt like hell, but it was very funny to see.
Larry O'Connell hates fighters who use the head and in one Sky-TV show this big heavyweight from Bristol stuck the nut in on his opponent and you could see O'Connell - who was sitting at ringside - look like he was about to jump in the ring. His face was a picture! What made it even funnier was that the referee in charge only gave the headbutter a slight ticking off and then allowed the action to continue.

I'm also positive I saw Seth Jones on Eurosport or Screensport once and he KO'd some 'hot' ex-amatuer in 1 or 2 rounds (maybe from the Northeast). But I do recall Mr Jones was a bit naughty with the head that night as well.
Yeah your right mate was really unexpected and he was expected to blown away as I recall he had Jones in some trouble.
Sorry though no way near a light welter and he didnt win apart form that he is also from coventry not northampton, BUT he does have a stupid haircut. Sheesh long day even longer weekend, hows those brain cells!

Dangerous David Kehoe vs Anthony Maynard at Aston Villa was unbelievable. Kehoe was getting angrier and angrier with Maynards jab n move. In the fifth round he stopped boxing and told Maynard that he couldn't punch for shit and that he would show him how to do it. He then began whacking himself in the head (about seven or eight times) before the ref jumped in to save him, the only self inflicted TKO I've ever seen.
Yeah, Richie Evatt was a funny guy. I once saw him talking on a knockout compilation tape and, unintentionally, he was a laugh a second. Shame he didn't beat Jones.
Obay Abrahams vs Ryan Rhodes - that kick out was funny.
Andrew Gerrard vs Johnny Nelson - discussed previously, funny as feck. Looks like I have got a thing for Sheffield fighters, but as the old "boxing memories" thread mentioned, I didn't know it was Nelson untill recently.
Marco Barrera vs Naseem Hamed - another Sheffield fighter , sorry guys - never have taken to Hamed. I don't mind the others.
