On Fight-News, they write that Rosales - Gutiérrez was an eliminator (WBC, 130lb), and that Soto vs. Díaz was only for the INTERIM WBC 130lb belt, the same belt that was on the line for Soto against Francisco Lorenzo. What now, was it the full title or the interim one?

Though several sites on the net say it was for the full title, and that Gutiérrez, who won an eliminator, would be Soto's next opponent. ARE YOU SURE IT WAS ONLY FOR THE INTERIM TITLE?

Humberto "Zorrita" Soto (45-7-2, 28 KOs) won the WBC interim super featherweight championship with a tenth round TKO over Gamaliel "Platano" Díaz (23-8-2, 10 KOs) on Saturday night at the Coliseo Centenario in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. Soto dropped Diaz in round one and after Diaz was deducted two points for continuous holding by referee Lawrence Cole in round ten Diaz' corner decided not to send him out for round eleven, much to the disappointment of the crowd. This was for the same belt Soto failed to when when he was DQ'd against Francisco Lorenzo in June. The WBC refused to recognize Lorenzo and this time Soto was victorious.
