I think he should control himself a bit. I don't pay to hear that shite. When he's about to go off on one, someone should bring in his plate of pie and mash and shove it in his big gob.

If it was a new gag I would have laughed - but the ginger one being a tranny has been rumoured since they first started.

Bunce I think likes this young Scottish presenter or has complete contempt for his boxing knowledge. His rapport with him is so much different to Paul Dempsey. Usually I find it cringe worthy - but this time, I thought he/they were funny.

"over to you big boy"!

And in return the Scots bloke mentioning the Klitchsko's singing "Mind up" and Talking about bunce in a sweat room with Ulisees De La Cruz!

Made a crap show enjoyable... where I don't like Bunce so much is when you don't need the jokes to keep the Setanta Subscriber interested - when the fights are good.

I enjoy Buncey because he's not like the other presenters. Love him or loather him, he's unique and speaks his mind. I respect that.

Plus I find his casual approach to presenting (not tie, casual attire and frank discussion) refreshing. His co-host also plays a good Abbott to his Costello.

How bad was the commentator during the fight

"Peter is well known for tasting the canvas in fights" - is he?

Buncey could be a Yank.

Yank commentators/pundits are absolutely hilarious.

He's the Nuts/Eurosport one that covered Valuev v Ruiz and started going on about St Peterburgh being the former capital of Russia. Convinced he was stoned during that fight.

Can't remember his bloody name, though.

Was it not the other bloke that was doing it with Holdsworth? They sound alike.

I thought that Buncey was out of line and just plain inaccurate in his criticism of Sam Peter, saying how he should be ashamed, how he had let his family down.

Peter came into the ring looking very confident, and seemed confident during the build up, but he lacked the skills, speed or ring experience to beat Vitali, he was getting his head jabbed off, and whenever he tried to bull his way forward, just walked onto shots.

Vitali isn't a one shot KO artist, but he is immensely heavy handed, and every shot he lands is hurtful, even when they are only arm punches. Peter looked demoralised after the second round, and realised he simply didn't have the tools to win.

It's all well and good criticising from the sidelines, but fighting a 6' 9 fighter who knows how to use his height to his advantage is no easy task.

Vitali hits a fair amount harder than his Brother IMO.

I just don't know what Buncey was saying before about Peter - talk about building him up to knock him down, and he did the same to Tony Thompson. Peter is slow as mud, always has been and never had a particularly good boxing brain - did he not remember the Klitchsko (Wladimir) fight. Peter was terrible that night, he had Wladimir out - and he did naff all about it.

Buncey went to town on Peter post fight cause I think he realised that he painted him a little (well a lot) to good in the pre fight. He was even suggesting that a prime 2003/2004 Klitchsko wouldn't have things all his own way before the fight - and was giving big hints (without ever committing) that he thought Peter would win this.

I was not at all surprised by Peter's performance, it wasn't lacking effort IMO, it was lacking ability. Which he has shown all through his career.

I'm glad someone cleared up Buncey's rantings because I found them quite surreal and I had no clue what he was talking about! His co-presenter isn't too bad, I think he enjoys his Boxing and seems to play along with Steve a bit, even goading him into some of the stuff. Woodhall is alright but he doesn't offer many incentives to keep watching at 3am with his monotone voice (he speaks a bit like me actually, poor bloke).

The whole "Sam Peter wasd a disgrace" thing was a bit surprising. He was like Danny Williams (and most Klitschko opponents) in that he saw flaws and weaknesses in Vitali but when he got in there he discovered it was a completely different kettle of fish.

I quite agree, Bunce's performance highlights his strengths and weakness's, often entertaining and he puts bums on seats, i'm certainly warming to him, but short on educated insight

Did anyone listen to Don Kings phone interview on Bunceys Boxing Hour last week   I was in hysterics when I watched the recording, Buncey and his lickle mate were trying to cut Don King off for about 5 minutes and they couldn't get a word in egdeways. The King is a Brother who can talk like no other. I'd Sky plussed the show and he was still in full flow when the recording finished
