Tarver needs the Jones fight more than the win
Great spot, bennie. Words fail me though. Doesn't Tarver strike you as one of the most intelligent boxers in the game? Opinionated and articulate, I would not have put him down as yet another financial clown. Could be bad advice or a dodgy accountant but I'm shocked.

It was revealed in the news that the WBA sent the gloves to Roy Jones home, the same gloves he used to beat Ruiz with, but I can’t find one of the websites that published it.bennie wrote:Not sure what you mean.dr_hook wrote:I wounder if the fighting gloves will be sent to Roy Jones house just like Ruiz fight.

Ah, those would be the special Ruiz-beating gloves secretly provided to the Jones camp by the guy on the grassy knoll, *not* the ones Jones put on in full sight of representatives of the Ruiz camp and the Nevada athletic commission just before the fight. How he managed the prefight switch is still a sleight-of-hand-miracle mystery.dr_hook wrote:It was revealed in the news that the WBA sent the gloves to Roy Jones home, the same gloves he used to beat Ruiz with, but I can?t find one of the websites that published it.bennie wrote:Not sure what you mean.dr_hook wrote:I wounder if the fighting gloves will be sent to Roy Jones house just like Ruiz fight.
The same magical anti-Ruiz gloves were recently spotted in Vlad Klitschko's corner, disguised as a water bottle.
