Has anyone been there? and whats it like in way of facilities.
The Cube is part of the Campbelltown Catholic Club. One of my daughters had her wedding reception at the club over three years ago. The facilities were terrific then and from what I have heard they have improved since.

IBO middle- weight boxing champion Daniel Geale has been left in the lurch after his Argentinian opponent Marcelo Alejandro Rodriguez backed out ...

The main support bout will feature Davey Browne who will be fighting Tor Thai Silichai for the WBC Youth World Featherweight Title.

Rob Medley will take on former amateur champion and seven-win professional Harry Venka over six rounds.

Frank Lo Porto will fight New Zealand prospect Ray Musson.

Local favourite Steve Casserly, another star from the Grange Old School Boxing, will contest six rounds with New Zealand's Dion McNabbney.

Former world youth champion Tommy Browne will open the show in a six rounder against David Wiremu.

So are they working something out for Geale or is Davey now headlining?

not sure Marlin, will check with Dan & let you know.

He was to use the fight as a preparation for his title defence on December 5 against an opponent yet to be decided.

Here's lil' bit from Grange Old School Boxing presser:

Originally scheduled to headline was current I.B.O. World Middleweight Champion

Daniel "Real Deal" Geale.

After negotiations to match Alejandro Falliga failed, due to "Visa" problems?, the Argentinean matchmaker offered to send 55 fight veteran Marcello Rodriguez over to make the fight.

As of midnight Tuesday and with fares paid all Argentina produced was another story leaving Daniel without a credible opponent.

On behalf of Daniel we wish to apologise to anyone who was making the trip specifically for his fight and wish to notify supporters, this has only served to strengthen Daniels resolve for his impending clash with the brash talking Anthony Mundine jnr in early 2009

When did Bucketmouth get a "jnr" on the end of his name? His father always fought as Tony.

Word is that some sensitive petal at Immigration may have been worried that Rodriguea may not have wanted to go home.

Kevin Andrews is gone but old habits die hard. :shame:
