at 154? He could do some damage there
still can't forget the Geale fight though...
He was dominated. He has to step up, fighting really average Boxers at the moment.
Well, the Next world champ from Australia wont be Wayne parker Jnr he got smashed in Japan last night in round 2 by Yuzo Kiyoto.

Dib will be severely challanged. The effort will need to be much better than his last effort. good luck to him

Dib loses 116-112, 115-113, 117-111.
Dib didn't do enough, too much energy wasted on showboating, he's not popular with boxing analyst's in the states.
He needs to change his stance, quicker fighters will always beat him.
Not the next champ.

Wasn't Wayne Parker an English rock and roll singer?

Just witnessed one of the best performance's ever, Kelly Pavlik got dominated by Bernard.
Bernard had him staggered in the 2nd and really didn't recover.
I recently posted in another forum that Bernard was finished after the Calzaghe effort, but he was just too quick for Pavlik.
I think Geale or Mundine could trouble Pavlik.

Oh well, I guess its up to Kickett and Zappa.
As for Pavlik - it was like the extra weight slowed him down - as what i seen with Winkys fight with Bernard. Pavlik just looked like crap but i doubt he would look so crap back at M/W.

i agree that mundine could hounddog but i dont believe geale has the power or balls to beat him.

I would love to get behind Billy Dib but find myself wanting to see him get KO'd, stop showboating and learn how to really fight, I dont get all the hype - decent chin - decent movement - throw some bloody punches.
Hop is a legend!!!

No real surprise, i dont think the fight really allowed him to be outclassed completely, it was a boring fight, leveano didn't take the fight to him, and of course Billy Elliott danced, i would love to know what the punch stats were.

Cool willie v Ahmed elomar on November 7 is comfirmed.
I posted this in another thread, but lenny Zappa issued a challenge to tommy browne and he accepted.
There are some other Aussie matchups that i want to see, like at lightmiddle Medley v Dawson.

^^
both good fights.
Medley v Dawson would be a great fight. anything could happen. I back the Rock to test Rob's chin though, he comes across as the bigger fighter.

Yeah, I would have thought Dawson was much bigger and should realy be able to impose his will on Medley...
I'll believe the other two fights are happening when the fighters step into the ring...

I have to agree there, get kind of worried about alot of fights that are cancelled lately.

Medley and Geale both train at Treacy's gym. Geale has probably given Medley some tips on any weaknesses he found when he beat Dawson. Medley has a height and reach advantage as well.

She has been dead for years. Lionel Rose was Bantamweight Champ when that show was made.
