N'dou - Destroys Hatton
Ian Darke was right when he said "maybe N'dou would be a little too good for his own good".
This guy would beat Hatton who is a sucker for the right hand. I think he would also beat Mayweather. Think about it, N'dou is just like a bigger, stronger version of Victor Sosa, and look how he pressured Mayweather. If Mayweather looks strong in two weeks, then my opinion may change, I think he'll beat Corley, but he has to look strong.

N'Dou's just too big for Mayweather. I can't see Floyd making a huge impact on this division at all. He's giving away so much to these guys, height, reach, power, size. I don't think his speed advantage will be enough. It'll be interesting to see his reaction the first time a full blown lightwelter catches him flush. His defensive skills are good but eventually it'll happen.
If he beats the top guys, i'll give him so much credit. But i can't see him beating the men at the very top.

Maybe but I'm not quite so sure, need to think about this one.Southpaw Stylist wrote:This guy would beat Hatton who is a sucker for the right hand. I.
One initial thought though, don't you think that Hatton would be busier and but N'dou under more pressure than Cotto did? and therefore push him on the back foot more? Where N'dou may be less effective?
It would be an entertaining fight, thats for sure, doubt it will ever happen though.
I agree completely, like I've said on other threads I think at 10st Mayweather will be competative but won't dominate.glittermonkey wrote:N'Dou's just too big for Mayweather. i didn`t see anything from the pair of them that i think ricky should worry about too much.
cotto seems to be a bit pensive when put under pressure, seeming to think about what he is going to do rather than reacting instinctivley.
he wouldn`t like a hatton type fighter forcing the pace imo.
he seemed to lapse into spells of inactivity against the ropes, just where ricky likes them to be for his accurate body attacks.
n`dou was a tough opponent for a 19th pro fight and cotto fought well, but maybe i was expecting a little bit more from cotto when n`dou forced the pace.
i guess it`s hypothetical though, hatton v cotto or n`dou.

Cotto never tested N'Dou with Bodypunches? Man, Cotto ripped N'Dou with some great left hooks to the body. He really fired it in and done great work to the head as well.Ding_Ding wrote:Cotto never really tested N'dou with body punches whereas Hatton would be doing that from the start.
Would be a good fight but unlikely to happen with FW & Sky involved.

N'Dou even said himself that Cotto hurt him.
In fact, Cotto broke his ribs.

Interestingly Ndou beat one Fred Kinuthia vis UD last year.
Interesting part is one month earlier Kinuthia was blasted out in 2 rounds by our own Junior Witter.
Ndou destroys Hatton
....not really...I agree with the majority here..any match between Hatton and Ndou would result in a wide UD for the Manchester man.

could well beKilburn wrote:I get the feeling N'Dou and Kinuthia are mates. The fighter I watched against Cotto yesterday would have blitzed that Kenyan. Lovemore must have carried him through the 12 rounds.
when I saw the stat I couldn't believe it was the same guy.
either mates or he had Wlad's blood sugar problem that night
Can't see Frankie matching Hatton with N'dou. The Aussie-based South African (Fred Kinuthia is an Aussie-based Kenyan, so, yes, they are probably mates) has pushed Mitchell and Cotto too close for comfort in his last four fights, and seems to be at his peak. Mitchell and Cotto are probably better than Hatton, or certainly just as good, so the risk would be too great for Warren.
Warren has a habit of matching Hatton with fighters he's tried to match him with in the past (think Aldo Rios). Talk of Antonio Mesquita for Hatton is another example. Other names you can throw in the hat are the men Warren tried to get to fight Hatton on the abotive Pinto bill before Dennis Pedersen got the nod: Allan Vester and Mike Stewart. I get the feeling Stewart will be a definite future opponent for The Hit Man.

Stewart would be a real threat.
Eamonn Magee should have brought the hammer down 2 years ago and/or Micky Vann should have let him; and maybe we would have been spared all this nonsense. (I still say there is more to that fight ...sorry..I should just let it go
)
All these Hatton threads are getting a bit much now...i have od'd on them..
Maybe John Shep should start a Hatton Forum ? and only those who upset others are banished onto it for all eternity.

Very good point that I hadn't considered before. In fact, before the Mitchell fight when one of the Ozzie posters was accusing Hatton of ducking N'Dou I was arguing that he was a joke based on the Kinuthia result.Kilburn wrote:I get the feeling N'Dou and Kinuthia are mates. Actually, after you'd got me thinking along those lines I'd actually argue that rather than it being a case of the two being mates, N'Dou took it easy simply to get the big fights. After all, it surely can't be coincidence that he gwent from being an avoided 'dangerman' to getting matched in the two biggest fights of his career straight after what appeared to be an appalling performance against Kinuthia. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I reckon he carried Kinuthia with a view to becoming a more acceptable opponent.
