whats the thinking on this guy. personally i like him, you can see the american influence of his early career in his fighting. good pressure fighter, throws combinations well doubling up often and loves to bang and go for the body. he does look to rely on a big haymaker at times leaving himself open but thats an easy problem to rectify.

i reckon hes got some good talent there and i see no reason why he cant be put in with the bigger names in this division right now.. arthur would be a cracking opponent for him though i dont think uncle frank would risk it, gomez may be a little to much for him just now, but as for anyone else in the top ten then i reckon he'd do very very well

You're not alone, i like him as well. His problem is that domestically this is a hot division at the moment. I don't like his chances against Gomez either, but fights with Docherty and Arthur would be interesting if they could be made. I think he just needs a few more fights before he's put in with the above though.

I think the jury is out on him, he looks very easy to hit. Also, in his two fights I have seen him he looks alot smaller than his opponents. He doesn't seem to have particularly big legs and isn't chunky, so he just must have dense bones.

I think he would start as the underdog against Gomez, Lear, Docherty and Arthur, but he would certainly give the latter two plenty to worry about. Good TV fighter, but don't think he'll be a major world title holder.

He's entertaining, has good work-rate and a nice dig, but he'll never be world class.

I'd still fancy him against Gomez and Arthur. The latter was always massively over-rated (with a very weak defence) and Gomez is only a name again for beating the aforementioned triumph of hype over talent.

He reminds me a bit of Adrian Stone. Well-schooled in the US, and too much for the domestic scene, but out of his depth against the top guns.

A useful addition if nothing else, he has class but maybe defensively suspect, would like to see him fight Docherty soon.

i dont know why coz he doesnt look like him but every time i see him on the telly he reminds me of chris pyatt.
