Name That Fighter --- Re-Visited...
Can always be a bit of fun --- some standard arcade fare, here. Name the fighter on the basis of their nickname. I'll start...
"The Black Hercules."

It was Kenny Norton, though I believe Weaver had a similar alias.

This is rather embarrassing. I seem to recall a 1980s fighter with the nickname "Psycho" but the name has gone now.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Even with the answer I'm still no wiser...
Chauncey Welliver was introduced as The Fat Dorky White Guy the other week when he was fighting Odlanier Solis.

Re: Name That Fighter --- Re-Visited...
I'm a little sketchy on the details as I was told of this one years ago, but apparently, there was a fighter in the 30's (a Lightweight, I think) known for absorbing tremendous punishment, & bleeding profusely for his troubles, hence, "Soak 'Em" Yoakum.
Re: Name That Fighter --- Re-Visited...
..danny womber....welterweight of the 1950s was also known as bang bang. he fought johnny bratton and won and gavilan and lost. neither was a title fight. was popular on tv because of his aggressive two handed punching.
