Aren't the guys your suggesting Toughman contest winners (Prizefighter),it's a bit delayed, but the one with Sexton was shown on Australia' Cable Network today, i've got to say seeing Rogan & Sexton fight i'll have a $10000 on Meehan for a stoppage early...... very.

Play along now, how serious are you about rogan and the other bar brawler.

the footage is gone now ..may come up aagin soon

the sexton v burton final was a classic

sexton boxed three complelty different fights and was a deserved winner

his only loss is to the fast improving Del Chisora...and these guys are all relative novices

Williams landed a lucky bomb in the first round, Big deal Meehan has been in with better guys than all 3 you just mentioned and held his own. He lossed a narrow decision for the world title and could actually win 1 when he fights Valuev.

I didn't dispute he was the deserved winner i think you claimed these guys would have thier way with Meehan & co.

I didn't say he was a bad fighter, i just said i was sure i could take your money.

I don't think you've seen Hoppa or Solo fight, if boxing was 3 Rounds they would be underdisputed ass kicker' it's after 3 rounds that's going to hurt them. And i don't support Hoppa.

Latest news is that Grandfather Holyfield has been offered a deal to fight Valuev.

Who is next? Joe Frazier?

Be serious, folks! :shame:

Sanity may reign after all. Valuev's people say that they have not been approached to fight Holyfield and they are planning to fight Meehan.

holy will be a HOFer. but his time is way past. perhaps he should go back to being a domestic fighter so he can give some of FBB's fav's a touch up.

Oliver, it must be awesome for you living in the greatest country on the planet. Everything the U.K has to offer is so vastly superior to this region that it must almost be above you to make snide remarks like the above. I'm assuming you are english?perhaps I'm wrong, i have been many times before, but your posts smack of the arrogance and public school superior attitude the the poms are famous for.

OK, I take it all back. I've been hanging around this board long enough now that I have finally come around to your way of thinking.

Australia is the strongest boxing nation in the world, and everybody who disagrees is a bigot.

Fair point!

Seriously, though, I've got nothing against Australia or Australian boxers. In fact, they're often among the most entertaining to watch.

I do happen to think the Aussie fans overrate their guys, but that's fair enough. It's just that you lot do get very over-protective when somebody doesn't share the view, and that just tempts me to chuck bait.

And I think it's a fair comment for me to point out that "best heavyweight in the South Pacific" is not the world's most glamorous boast, even if my sarcasm rubbed the wrong way!

I think a quote from geto will fit nicely here:
armageto wrote:You are correct, I'm thinking about rooting for top UK fighters that aren't hype jobs. You know, people like Khan, Witter, Maccarinelli, Anthony Small, and A-Force. Those guys are all legit prospects and champs. None of them ever lost, and not one of them was hyped up to be better than what they were.................................

Cameron will be fighting Hoppa next early next year..............really leading by example there! Makes sense money wise it'll sell ALOT and easily promoted. However is a step backwards in shanes Career and too many steps forward in Hoppas
