Has the 2009 US National Championship dates changed to June?

Earlier this year I looked on USA Boxing website and it stated that the Nationals would be held in early June. I now can no longer find that information on their website. We are changing our dates for our annual schedule contingent on the dates of the US Nationals. How many more of you are having this problem?

Many people are having the same problem. They didn't really care last year when they scheduled some of their tournaments - MW Trials, Eastern Trials, Western Trials, and U.S. Championships. I hope they consider the concerns of the grassroots people and the group members this time around.

Ron - I suggest you either call or email Jeff Steffen or Andrew and ask one of them. Since they are in charge of events, they should have an answer for you.

Yes the U.S. Championships dates have changed. They will not be held in February or March like usual. They are most likely going to be in June. The just haven't decided what week of the month it will be held.

Jeff Steffen is no longer with USAB. He has moved on to working with US Para olympics. Andrew is the only events guy right now.

Actually - 17. I forgot to delete Campbell.

Which means they will be back to at least 19 after they hire the 2 people to replace Dan and Jeff, probably 20 with the other new position they seek to fill.
