Is it worth buying tickets for the williams fight
Is it worth buying tickets for the williams fight
2 weeks to go and only the headline confirmed... how much do I trust Hennessy to put together a good bill?
Re: Is it worth buying tickets for the williams fight
McDermott has pulled out so even the main-event isn't confirmed.
Don't buy your tickets yet, bud.

Are you fornicating kidding me, why does Hennessy have so many people pull out on him does he pay particularly badly or do other promoters go out of there way to fuc him up?

Mcdermotts got a broke rib, doubt hes doing it to spite anyone lol
'apparently' he fought williams with the (already done) injury but it hasnt healed properly enough for him to train on it, or something along them lines.

I think a fight against Botha 22 days later might be the real reason ![[icon_e_confused.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

Williams has been saying for a while he will do both, I dont think that McDermott pulling out has been motivated by Williams having a fight soon after.

Re: Is it worth buying tickets for the williams fight
Williams struggled a bit in the first McDermott fight, now if he had struggled in the 2nd one it could have jeopardized the Botha fight which I'm pretty sure he will be getting paid a lot more money for, so who knows whats gone onMatthewS wrote:Williams has been saying for a while he will do both, I dont think that McDermott pulling out has been motivated by Williams having a fight soon after.
Re: Is it worth buying tickets for the williams fight
I don't agree that William's struggled too much in the McDermott fight. Yes, that fifth round was really scary to watch if you have any allegiances to Danny but apart from that, did William's struggle at any other point? I don't think so. Take away those ridiculous point deductions and Danny wins a pretty wide decision, as expected. I expect a rematch (if it does take place) to end in the same result as I predicted for the first fight, unless McDermott can land one (perhaps more) of his slow arse bombs and take Danny out.

Who fighting on Saturday?

Valid point and one that needs answering, I know they have been trying to get someone in for Williams to fight but presumably no joy at present, hopefully one of the Hennessy lads can update us with what is going on.leforge wrote:Who fighting on Saturday?
