two points: one, you arent putting out a 70 million squad without the someday hope of CL football, and you cant aim without reaching forever in that sense.

If anyone can get our soft centred nancy boys playing, it is Redknapp.
Still think Ramos would have come good in the end, but it seems Levy has bottled it a bit and gone for someone who knows the game and can get the players fired up.
All in all, it's a pretty good move overall though. Especially when the likes of Rijkaard, Mancini and Klinsmann were getting linked with the job. Any of those 3, who blagged their big jobs on the back of their playing careers, would have taken Spurs straight down.
Just hope Pompey don't suffer too much as a result.
