Haye wins...Hatton etc. hang your head in shame

Haye certainly shows the sentiment, but I still cant but help think that he wouldn't have fought King Arthur if he didn't know he was gonna win.

Either way I guess it is more than the likes of Hatton at the mo.

It made me laugh when he said

I just get the feeling he was talking about Ricky Hatton!

I thought Arthur would bring a little more than that but it was still a brutal, calculated performance from Haye. Very very impressive.

No doubt about it this lad is a world class puncher. Superb interview too.

Yeah I agree, Arthur looked slow and his balance was gone but I'm not taking anything away from Haye - brilliant performance.

Haye will be right in the top 5 now (domestically), I still think that although they will be classed as backward fights, Swaby and Scott will be good opponents for his next bout.

When he said world title by the end of this year, I am actually HOPING he meant the IBO title - because I do fear that a geniune title fight might be a little soon.

Good win for Haye, that punching is going to take him a long way. Credit to him for taking risky fights like that, but jesus Williams looked like he was punching under water.
Wonder who he's going to bring over next, Harmon?

David really looked like a world beater last night. Awesome. he took apart a guy that simply does not get taken apart.

great performance, great interview, i hope frankie was watching. awesome reference to hatton. That must have been calculated.

There will continue to be matching problems, especially now. Jesus, he's almost earned an eliminator shot after that win!

i think, after a couple more fights, he has the beating of wayne braithwaite. wayne hits hard but he's also crude and will struggle to keep up with haye. Anyone also admire Haye's defence in there? very slick. ok he wasn't under much fire but his reactions were great. looks like he's gonna really get up for the big fights.

Good british scene at mo.he`ll be mandated for british next.So let`s see him in with someone we know can fight,say like Hobson for the british.Hobson fights Swaby,he`s the mandatory at the moment let`s hope Haye goes this route and not the dodgy route Maccaranelli has taken.

This should really put the pressure on Maca to make big fights. Maca's had a good few more fights. Maca's next opponent should be quality and if he's not then he should be citisized on tv. No more bullshit one-sided fights, that was exciting last night and I was quite up for it because it was a risk.
