Video camera's at shows?

Post by stujones »

Just a question, does anyone know the state of play concerning video cameras at boxing shows. Are you allowed to tape shows that have televisual rights, what about the non-tv fights?

Just a question I have often thought about, of course you can in the Amatuers (although I'm not sure about the televised Amateur shows) don't know what is allowed or not allowed with the pro events.

I know that you cannot even take pictures of televised theatre productions, but of course you can in pro-boxing contests, surely then video cameras are allowed.

Kevin Mitchells mum was recording the fight last night on camcorder....
she obviously wants to get as many of his fights as possible on one tape hence the match making

As far as I know, video cameras are not permitted for televised events.

Even in the non-televised undercard?

Someone better tell Kevin Mitchell's mum.

The promoter or person who runs the shows can decide if they are allowed or not
