Matt Skelton Opponent.....June 5th
Re: Matt Skelton Opponent.....June 5th
Dean Powell won't go public with the opponent till the last few days. Could really be anyone, even a Brit, but more likely some African Skelton can roll over in a couple of rounds and get people talking about his pending showdown with a certain slippery, half-scared, southpaw.JamieA wrote:Any news on who Matt Skelton will be fighting June 5th

Concepcion's a damn good prospect. Won't be long before we see him on Sky.
Keith Long's name got a mention on the Sky show last night and that would interesting, if very messy to watch.
McDermott wants to fight anyone in Britain and got fed a typically overmatched opponent last night, so why not Big Bad John?
Concepcion was on Sky and won quickly, though I think got knocked down himself, and I didn't get that buzz you sometimes get from a new addition to the pro ranks who you suspect could be something special.
But it's very early days and judging by his amateur form should make a good pro.
