In his fight vs Clyde Gordon near the end of his career, it says the judges called a halt to the bout... but the result is UD 9... How is it a decision when the judges stopped the bout?

Well, my name is attached to that bout, but I have no memory of entering it. It might have been a keyboard typing error. It looks like it should be a TKO, but I have no source for this one. Can anyone help out? ric

CBZ has it as a L-10 for Zivic:

Edit: I found my source, after all. THE EVERETT DAILY HERALD. Jan. 9th edition. It was a 9-round decision.

So the judges stopped the bout... but it was a decision and not a TKO?

That's what the article said. Perhaps someone should check a NY Times to see what it reported about this bout. ric

The 1981 Ring Record Book gives it as a W 10 for Gordon. I'll see what the New York Times says (on Thursday)
