I don't wanna see Keith Long getting involved with Skelton, I am sure most people would agree that it would be a diabloical match. We have already seen Long in with Williams, so come on SN, get it on.

I actually disagree there TT, what will Danny gain by fighting against Skelton, he should be looking past the British title now. He's got the lonsdale belts for keeps - he seems clearly unmotivated by the likes of Sprott and Skelton, he should be looking at Kandelaki followed by Samil Sam (or the European champ).

Skelton vs Long would actually be quite an intriguing contest, I have been a firm believer that Long would have beaten Sprott in the eliminator that never happend. Given Harrison's performance against Francis, I still am adamant that Long vs Harrison would not be a forgone conclusion.

I think Long vs Skelton is a good match for Matt at this stage, if he wins and wins well then it will boost him for his future, because Long is unlikely to fold like Sprott did. I think given his age, Skelton should consider try and win the Lonsdale belt outright in record time and try to move on.

They should all move away from the domestic scene ASAP, time isn't on their side. There are plenty of world wide options, they must start to take them.

Considering Skelton is only defending his Commonwealth title on June 5, it will certainly be a lesser name than Danny in the opposite corner (yes, maybe Keith Long), or more likely someone like this guy:

That actually wouldn't be do bad a match, I remember Bob bullying Danny for a few rounds and I was worried he would come a cropper. It would be interesting to see how Skelton reacts when he is facing is equal (in terms of brute strength).

Danny would gain the chance to fight Harrison, which is definitely a fight that he has wanted for quite some time. Danny can look past british level all he wants, but ultimately, British level is his limit. A limited slugger like Sam has already demolished him. I think a match with Skelton opens up some doors for him, and puts him back where he was before the Sprott setback.

Although to be honest Stu, I doubt Danny is motivated by any fight.

As for Keith Long, I aint a big fan, he's crude, he's brave, and he's limited. A fight with Skelton doesn't excite me at all :)

I aint expectin a British opponent for Skelton. There are 3 good Nigerians who would be good steps up Henry Akiwande (now that he has chosen to represent Nigeria) Duncan Dokiwari (one of the mighty Audley Harrison's sparring partners) and Friday Ahunanya(another of Audley's sparring partners). I would like to see Skelton in with one of these guys and see how he does against an opponent who is as big or bigger than him. He has been able to bully all of his opponents so far, so lets see if he can beat someone who he cant bully.
