If Khan was expected to go no further than domestic class then Fagan is a tough fight - but he is not - and the hype for anyone mug enough to believe it will still continue.
Ex-IBF Lightweight titlist Paul Spadafora had a tough time with Fagan last year. Quite a few people felt Fagan deserved the decision.

How do people think this will go? Similar to the St Clair fight?

fagan to win round 8 TKO
he is as tough as they come and khan has a glass chin which is too easy to hit for fagan
straight to the bookies and put the money on fagan

Only seen him against Konstantin Sakara .. and .. well not the best thats for sure :-?

Good record on paper, but to use his split decision loss against Spadafora as credit .. Spadafora only got a UD against Shad Howard(13-10-3)in his next contest :-?

Khan boxes rings around the 34yr old .. easy decision win.

What about fighting Spadafora himself? He'd be perfect. Massively inflated and protected record with an 0 in tact, and can't punch worth a damn, and his best years are behind him at 33 and jail time.

A win there would get him back on track very fast.

Looks a good one. Cant really say we expect Kahn to get him out early, a few (including myself until i saw that jab) expected to see that against Prescott and look what happened. Looking forward to it.

Lol at these responses, as usual. fagan KO's Khan. He has got real guts, will stick around and will hit Khan, at which point we will all experience deja vu.

Yet another payday for me.

He almost beat a rusty Spadafora. is strong and willing. Khan is by no means taking a meal-ticket opponent here.

That doesnt change the fact that theres a good chance that he will beat khan , which is what alot of people are saying.

I see this going in a similar fashion to the Gomez fight. The shorter Fagan will be coming forward and trying to get on the inside but Khan will just be back peddling and scoring at will. Anyone has a punchers chance against Amir 'the worst chin in boxing' Khan, but this guy is too short, old and devoid of speed to worry even Khan. Khan has a lot more speed and accuracy than Spad in my opinon and a different style altogether.

Khan TKO r8

I like Fagan. Nice fella and an honest hardworking boxer.

But...the one thing that has always puzzled me is why the seriously overprotected and savvily managed Julio Cesar Chaevz Jnr was put in with Fagan in only his fifth pro contest? Perhaps because Fagan was only a novice himself then and had not matured, but I still always wonder about that one.

Chaevz won over 4 rounds by the way if anyone's interested and I remember it on a SKY undercard.

Chavez jnr. would have had massive height advantage and sizable weight advantage by fight time against fagan.

But as said, it was very early in Chavez jnr. career .. and lets also not forget Chavez had almost no amateur experience.
The good things are that Fagin is unlikely to get intimidated and freeze against Khan, also he looks quite durable .. the worrying signs are that he`s short, quite old, slow feet and hands .. and his KO ratio has been built against tomato cans .. and he`s the come-back opponent after a heavy KO loss ...

a wide points win for Khan, possibly even the ref jumping in to save Fagan on his feet sometime after the 7th .. and the show rolls on :witzend:

yer right Spud, Fago was aweful against Chill John and not much better against Sakata.

However, a lot of people say that he won the fight with Spadafora and Kimbrough's team "lost" the video tape of that fight after Fagan's camp wanted to make an issue of that "robbery"

Personally I think Fagan will be a very hard fight for Khan. Oisin fights from the first bell to the last, has power and can handle himself sparring with bigger boxers nevermind a large LW in Khan.

Good Luck Oisin rip him a new one, I'll be putting my house on a Fagan win.
