above fight 9-29-2001. Also a fight for Dean Williams 9-29-2001. Could be more on Crossville, Tn. card. Can you find out. Plus 11-17-2001 Robert Daniels. 10-26-2001 Samson Toyota. Might be more on those cards also. Maybe WBF can provide.

The above non-entered bouts bring up a question in my mind. How do Forum viewers (non-editors) tell if you feel you have entered all the bouts for an Active fighter? Is it possible to make that part of the disclaimer? What was the start date for daily results? (just the current stuff). If a bout after that date, is not recorded, should we submit it? Or be patient a little while longer?

$bill, that is one suggestion Matt has made to John as a feature of BoxRec MKIII -- a note on the record to the effect that it is complete and "current." Maybe the record could have another note of "Last Updated: 01/01/01."

As far as current US results go, we are lacking in the Midwest and South. We need to work more towards getting results from the various commissions. Most of what gets in here comes from news reports or card results that an editor happens upon.

Thanks for the replys and info. What do we do in the mean time? Just submit the verified bouts? The 4 above mentioned bouts are on the WBF website. No info for the original scheduled length. Probably had undercards. In this instance, I think I would try to contact a responsible party at that site and try to get them to submit their fights thru one (copy to a second)of the editors. A lot of newspapers now are available and archived back 3 to 5 years on the internet. But how can we tell (undercards)which Smith or Lopez is which? A lot of the undercards only give last names and result. postscript: that was how I found Ballards date of death.

I have some missing bouts (may not have got to them yet). How do you want them handled? three bouts for 11/12/99 off the WBA website. Prefer to do them off Forum. Can you give me two Editors to send them through. John Shep has my E-mail. Can't be an Editor. Old age problem. Need to have my stuff looked at (re-edit). Will have others from time to time.
