Is Dennis Hobson close to getting any TV dates? There was talk of a Woods Euro fight and that he was close to signing Tony Jeffries, but the deal he had with Setanta seems to have been scrapped and he has no deal with Sky. Where else for him to go?
It seems a shame that neither seems able to negotiate short-term deals, as a Woods Euro shot would be much better than anything Sky or Setanta have shown this season
Can Hobson get any TV dates?
Re: Can Hobson get any TV dates?
i feel that dennis needs to up his stable to secure a new tv deal, tv companies want title fights. dennis is a wealthy man, perhaps he is having a bit of a break from the game and will come back with FA once again a major player.

Re: Can Hobson get any TV dates?
He's probably saving up to buy Sheffield Wednesday - don't rule it out !
I haven't seen Denis for a while now, he's based in Jersey, and whilst I hope he's still got that spark, I'm a bit worried he's lost it.
I don't think he enjoyed his time with Ricky - and Clinton's last result, and moving on training wise might not have helped.
That said he's still his Promotor and they're very close.
Let's see what happens.

Clinton is a nice guy, but can anybody really get excited about his career now?
Hobson would have to splash the cash to get back in.

If he signed Jeffies and another couple of recognisable names then perhaps we could get excited again. Woods is nearing the end and Femi just got knocked out so he's struggling a little at the moment.
