Pascal injured?

This is getting ridiculous. Froch has missed enough big fights as it is. If this turns out to be true, then mentally, it will be a massive let down for Carl.

Its getting ridiculous!

Hardly a reliable source - I wouldn't get too worked up yet boys.

I don't see any news sites carrying this.

If this is the case, surely Hennessy could get one of the usual suspects to replace Pascall at last minute??
Even if it is for the vacant interim title!
I'd presume they would prefer to get their sanctioning fee rather than letting the date slide

I'm not taking it as gospel, but I must admit to being abit worried, especially after someone close to the Froch camp started a thread on here saying that he really hopes that Pascal makes it to the ring.

We cant jump the gun but it does sound as if the fight might be off now. We will have to wait for the official announcement. More bad luck for Froch.

If this is true - absolutely rotten luck for Froch.

I am convinced Froch is a world class boxer and unlike most of you lot - I still give him a serious chance against Calzaghe.

Pascal's always got something wrong with his shoulder or bicep because he punches from way outside. Hopefully we shouldn't read too much into this. He hasn't pulled out yet.

Spoke to Cal on Saturday morning and he was in bullish mood. He's over in Ireland training at the moment and getting some of the best sparring of his life from a young Cuban. I personally think the rumour is bullshit and that the fight will go ahead.

Its not bullshit.

He hurt his arm, however an MRI scan revealed nothing more than a bruise.

His training continues with running, fitness etc, but no sparring for a week or so.

My source is reliable :TU:

Let's hope so. If Pascal ends up pulling out of this fight I'm convinced Froch is cursed. He ain't getting any younger and he needs his time to shine.

Fingers crossed Pascal is good to go.
