That's cool. I think we've discussed this on a previous thread about a year ago. I actually intended this thread to focus on the Erdei fight, but things went straight onto the titles he could have won and a fight with Calzaghe.

It is interesting that some of the guys Francis dominated were deemed good enough to challenge the likes of Calzaghe and Collins.

We'll have to see what the Erdei fight does for the Francis mystique. Hopefully he ends up with a title. It is a massive ask, because I see him as a muscled up super middle well removed from his best years. And he isn't his best with counter punchers (at least not these days).

We did indeed, though we actually share the same sentiments - I'd love Dean to come good against Erdei. However, I see him loving a wide points decision due to the reasons you've outlined.

On the undercard - Denis Inkin v Karoly Balszay.

Kiss your title goodbye, Denis.

Have to see this show, Erdei-Francis and Inkin-Balszay. I hope Sky are picking this up.

Obviously, but someone somewhere must know the projected venue / city.

It's always good to watch a boxer you like. Most of the recent big-name fights have left me cold in terms of caring who wins.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Froch, Haye and Francis. I'd be happy if Pacquiao caused a huge upset, too.

It's not a joke to us, because Francis was a very big talent and he's getting his big chance.

I am a friend of Deano and was there when he fought Barney-he definitely won that fight with one hand and we were all baffled by the decision!
I keep reading rubbish about his dodgy shoulder/right hand but this is all repaired now and the fact he was throwing it to great effect against Oakey proves my point.

Dean ismore driven than ever and believe me when i say he will knockout Erdei early on and then the knockers on this site will have to eat there words!!

Wolfman can you check with Deano about this one, I heard he pulled out about a week ago and that Barashian (the russian) was going to get the job against Erdei.

Hope its not true but fear it might be
