Re: fights you'd like to see in 2009 (but probably won't)
So you want Calzaghe to fight four more times? no chance pal, though it would be nice to see those fights happen. It'll be Jones and goodbye, unless he loses or it's close with Jones and they might rematch in Cardiff.Superheavyweight wrote:If Calzaghe wants the P4P-ATG-#1 Tag he needs to beat Jones/Hopkins-(convincingly)/Froch/Dawson then our boy Andre Ward.oliverfennell wrote:Have you got jetlag?Superheavyweight wrote: Joe Calzaghe vs. Bernard Hopkins II
The moneys there, and he can do it all without ever fighting in the next decade.

Re: fights you'd like to see in 2009 (but probably won't)
Never happen sadly, he says this is his last fight but I've a sneaky feeling he'll have one more in Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium against Jones if it's close this weekend. He won't go near Hopkins after the Pavlik performance and Pavlik's stock has dropped. Froch doesn't bring the cash and he's beaten Kessler. The victory over Hopkins means he can sleep better without rematching him.Superheavyweight wrote:I want him to fight as many fights he can in 2009.
Although I agree that Jones/Hopkins/Froch all has more than a good chance stylistically...
We'll see I guess.
Re: fights you'd like to see in 2009 (but probably won't)
KESSLER PAVLIK
Has anyone requested Kessler Pavlik? Both big straight punchers, could be good... providing pavlik can get couple of good wins on the back of that good hiding he got at the hands of Nrad.

Read his other 50 or so posts. You'll soon see he really does need help.

Id say with your level of maturity there are no winners.
