Venezuelan Sonny Leon's bout with Puppy Garcia is still the subject of barroom talk in Venezuela.
Some of the other bouts I have heard about -- but really know nothing, is Leon's fights with some other Cubans -- Ciro Moracen, Luis galvani and orlando Castillo.
I will be honest -- I no just a little about Puppy and nothing about these other guys.
Can anyone shed any light? (Hint to mi amigo Enrique!).
Leon, for those who care, had at least 80 bouts but su mala vida fue su perdicion.

Puppy Garcia
Any bout in which Sonny Leon was involved was a good fight. Moracen and Galvani were stylist, but Puppy was a brawler and made great fights. Incidentally, Puppy has been living in South Florida for a couple of decades. He was a political prisoner in Cuba for several years, acussed of being a member of the resistance, but since the eighties he has been in charge of a park for the city of Sweetwater and is now looking at retirement. He's very clear headed in spite of his brutal fights...
