Truscott v Simpson , Jan 9th
Paul Truscott is getting his biggest test so far when he takes on former British champ John Simpson, not an easy fight for the young Truscott.
Its on the undercard of Appleby v Pickering, and could actually be better than the main event.

You sure this is on undercard or separate evening?

Cracking test and fight for Truscott - we will then be able to make realistic comparisons between him and Appleby.

The report i read did say it was on the undercard, but obviously things could change.leforge wrote:You sure this is on undercard or separate evening?
It makes sense if it is, as Appleby and Truscott want to box each other, so gives the fans a chance to see them both.
I reckon that Truscott will have the harder night, Simpson isn't someone on the downside just yet.
Pickering has slid quite a bit from his prime

I saw the report of Truscott v Simpson in the Glasgow Evening Times,
I'm guessing that was incorrect mate, you'd know more than me
Is it going to be Simpson in the opposite corner on the 23rd?

Cheers, Simpson would be a tough fight for him, but give a good indication where he is compared to Appleby
Re: Truscott v Simpson , Jan 9th
Paul came to see me and said this fight is far from being confirmed, thats because an African boxer has also been named,Paul himself prefers the Simpson fight,he just said he wants to fight the best available.

Isn't on the slide JUST yet, he is yet to reach his prime also.Old bones Ian wrote:The report i read did say it was on the undercard, but obviously things could change.leforge wrote:You sure this is on undercard or separate evening?

this would be a nice matchup i think Truscott would take it relatively comfortably
