Cruiserweight world champion Giacobbe Fragomeni of Italy was approved to fight number one-ranked mandatory challenger Krzystof Wlodarczyk of Poland. If no agreement is reached during free negotiations, a purse offer will be held on December 1. An elimination fight was approved between number two-ranked Herbie Hide of Great Britain and number three-ranked Matt Godfrey of the United States.

I haven't seen Matt Godfrey fight yet. What are your predictions if the fight goes ahead?

Godfrey by Ko if the fight happens. Godfrey's a bit tubby but he's got fairly fast hands and can crack a bit - see his ko's of Cora and Nwodo.

I saw Godfrey fight Nwodo and wasn't overly impressed. First of all he looked a bit flabby and could maybe make light-heavyweight plus Nwodo had him in bother throughout the fight. Suddenly Godfrey had him hurt and the ref jumped in. Maybe Godfrey has more in the locker and I caught him on a bad night?
