Any word on how Miguel Gonzalez and Jesse Carradine did?

And Malcom should stay amateur. He's still young and has a lot of maturing to do. Will be interesting to see what he does, or doesn't do, in the pros.

Heyaaa,I only fought 12 times.Came here last year from Samoa With a few fights but they had me to start Novice again. After going 5-0 winning the District championship in LB under Novice division,I was Allowed to fight for the Regional Championships. It was my first Open fight nd the i fought was the Best Lightheavy weight from Daygo. It was war.I won that one nd earned a ticket to the All starts National tournament in Colorado in March.I was the guy with the Least Experience in the region 14 team.lol...I fought Kelly buchannan(Dallas,Texas) nd lost by one point that shouldve came my way after he went down with a short left hook.the Scoring system was a total BS.I stayed nd Kelly had to fight Michael Falk the next day but the Doxtors put him on Injured list with a Broken Nose.I wanted to take his place but the jury didnt want that, its all good. Thanks though, stay up

Just saw this! If what he says is true (and I wasn't there, so don't know), guess my LBC is into breaking more rules than I already thought. Sad.

The new 2008 rulebook addresses this situation. It specifies how the LBC's shall handle filling a team spot for the Regionals and how the Regional team openings get filled.

Dennis, the new rule book does not address any new rule that overturns the fact that you MUST have 5 scored bouts before you enter the advancing tournament. Never, in my 21 years, have you been able to get wins in a non-advancing novice tournament (held at the same time as the advancing open tournament) and go on to a regional tournament (unless the rules were being broken). The current rule book also states that boxers must have a minimum of five bouts prior to entering LBC tournaments that lead to regional or national championships. )If Pritchard already had five bouts, why didn't he enter the open district tournament?) And that only the LBC champions are eligible to compete in the regional championships. Or, if none of the prerequisites are filled, an athlete can be selected by the LBC - but I wouldn't think the winner of a Novice division would qualify. I can also tell you that Pritchard did NOT get five bouts in the District tournament - it only goes two or three days.

Dominic Wade was slated to turn pro on November 22 in Tunica, MS, but he has a virus and will not compete on this card.

Shawn Estrada will make his debut on November 29 against Lawrence Jones in California on the Paul Williams-Verno Phillips undercard.

So Dominic decided to skip out on trying to make the 2012 Olympic team. At the trials in Houston, his father said they would keep him amateur. I guess he'll sign with the same promotor as Guerrero and the Peterson brothers. Is he going to contine training at Round One gym with Adrian Davis or will he switch to Barry Hunter?

Dominic is with Barry now, from my understanding. That kind of opens 165 in the PVA up though.

In the 2nd round,I traded left hooks with Kelly nd he got hit with a short one that turned him around nd sent him to the canvas flat on his face. The Score went to him instead of me.After i lost that fight,Teammates nd some people came to me(Even Before i got outta the ring) nd was telling me about how the two points went to Kelly instead of me.Nd thats the points that I needed to win with.I EVEN got Evidence.A teammate of mine was Filming it from where the croud was nd you cud even see the Score boared if u were to Watch the film.It clearly said it all!!We wanted to take a protest but we had to pay $300 for OUR fight,Our protest. We let it go.
