Haye tickets – just received a 2 for 1 offer e-mail

Post by chinny »

From Ticketmaster. Suggests that it is open only to those who’ve booked tickets to the 02 before. Worth trying them if you are thinking of going though.

Either way it suggests they are struggling to shift them

If I wasn’t going the Calzaghe fight I’d probably go

I understand they need to fill the place, but pissing off half the audience who've payed well over the odds already, isn't the smartest move IMO. Offering ticketholders discounted tickets for mates would be a far better move IMO.

It seemed like it was... if I'd have seen any spare seats I'd have taken them to get away from the two hammered Welsh lads next to me, who were popping e's like smartees. Wasn't the best night to take the mrs to her 1st show

They are only giving this offer to people who have booked tickets at the O2 arena in the past. I presume for the next big event at the O2 you will get a similar offer ............... or am I being overly optimistic? :DD

Where were you sat? We had two pissed up and I think E'd up Welsh lads behind us, they spilled some water over some dudes and it very , very nearly kicked right off! Their faces when Enzo got sparked was a treat espically when everyone around them that had been annoyed by them over the whole evening gave them shit!

It was near the front of block 106 or 107... that story sounds v familiar. There were some Welsh lads in the row in front totally embarrassed by the two plums.

The 2 for one offer is available to anyone, not just previos O2 customers.
I applies to all tickets £80 upwards.
Problem is the f***kin website is shite and the phones are permanantly on answerphone.
I got through on computer eventually put in 2 x £250 for £250 and it offers me f***kin ringside at £375 each.

You don't have to be an O2 customer mate.
The best link is via the Hayemaker website.

It's early in the morning, so my brain isn't up to working temp yet, but are you saying that as we've bought 4 tickets we can get 4 free ones for this fight?

The honest response is I don't know EPNG.
However if I were in your position I would certainly be looking for something to compensate.
Ask for a free upgrade ?

Okay, I'll try and call O2 and ticketmaster today. Dirk/Wales, I can't make a guarantee I'll have time, so if one of you could do this for me (as I did all the effort for the tickets) please fell free. It's in all our interest if we can get an upgrade.
