Disgraceful Scen after Elomar Kickett Fight at Central Coast

Did anybody else see that? The fight finished in the first with Kickett seeming in charge when Elomar brought a right out of nowhere and KOed him.

Nothing unusual, Kickett got stopped by a punch he did not see coming.

A few seconds later and idiots with nothing to do with the fight are throwing chairs into the ring. Hopefully they round them up and they are never let into a fight again.

Yeah mate i saw it.. i was just thinking "Elomar looks like he could drop any minute now.." then all of a sudden kickett is on the ground. Good win for Elomar and yes its was a disgrace what happened after the fight.

i just can't believe it...on so many levels.....apart from Willie losing it's another sad day for the sport. No wonder people like my wife look at the sport and say "there's no way my family will be involved in that". Unfortunately it's hard too argue. When will people learn?

There are to many try hards hanging around true boxers. My misses said a very similar thing. I keep saying im taking the young fella down to train when he's a bit older and she just said to me so he can turn into a dickhead like the guys at the fights on TV.

Good on Elomar though he was taking some punishment and landed a hard punch Kickett didnt see coming. Dont think its the end of Kickett though he should learn to be more patient as he had the fight in control until that Right hand.

^^mighht even have its positives.despite his talent he has at times seemd to be a bit sloppy defensively allowing reflexes alone to be hids defence rather than technique. hope its not the end ,but sure it isnt.
anyway....thats boxing.guuess answers a thing or two about his chin perhaps-not bad,but not good either.and perhaps not world class.but then again look at Mannys record.hes done alright.

Like Lance Gostellow, Kickett is too casual when in charge( hands low). Getting ko'd by Ahmed Elomar is not a big plus for the c.v.Have Kickett & Gostellow got the drive & capacity to learn that Vic showed after his loss to Donaire? I guess time will tell.Lenny Zappa keeps moving up the list of our best prospect. The Tommy Browne fight should be interesting to see where Zappa is at.

willie was in control then BAM Farked him right up... i was watchin it with the cuzzyz. the house was just quiet. but it was disgraceful how they just jumped in the ring and started that shit... i noticed that when willie was gettin taken away with CC, i noticed he was limpin? was he hit wit a chair?

He should have been on a stretcher. The ring invasion stuffed things up, Kickett was obviously concussed. Thankfully Elomar's manager got between the crowd and Kickett to help his people. It could have been worse. These days you would not see a football ground invaded like that.

Lets be honest. This is his second loss. He has now been outboxed and KO'd. He went in to this fight "knowing" the result before it happened, he knew he couldn't lose a decision and he got lazy again. As I said, proping a prospect up with a decision when he lost isn't always the best thing for the fighter or the sport. Cool Willie is a good example of that.

Yeah but Marlin i've heard you talk of a lucky punch in the Darchinyan v Mijares thread, if elomars KO victory was not a lucky punch i dont know what is, Elomar was dominated from the bell, Wille droped his hands and paid for it, it's happened in the past with good fighters it will happen again. Willie needs to rematch Elomar before someone else jumps in the ring with Elomar and exposes what little ability Elomar really has.
