HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
WHAT ARE THE THOUGHTS GUYS??
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
I'd like to hear some comments myself. Based on the records it appears haskins has a very good shot @ the upset. Any comments and/or updates would be appreciated.

Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Haskins has a style similar to Froch and its letting him down as he steps up in class. If his defense has improved he could win. He was useless against Ian Nappa. Must go 2 mins left before the Sky coverage.
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Please give any updates....thx
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Very messy fight so far Haskins looked very wild over the first three.
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
I'm not watching but if Haskins doesn't hurt you or bomb you out early then his fights turn into a messy, holding affair.
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
anybody have a link? thx
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
anybody out there???
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Haskin won on points. I think it was very close fight. Bell uses only one punch - single jab. What is wrong with double it up.

Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Wrestlemania, Haskins 2 falls to 1 over Bell. Almost as much time on the canvas as standing. The most messy fight as you will ever see. Haskins slowed from half way using up loads of energy punching air. The results tend to look good for Haskins but in reality none of us knew which fighter had won. It was suggested it might be a draw as many of the rounds were very hard to score due to the messiness of the fight.Pongsaklek wrote:Thanks.

Poor fight, thought Bell would of done a lot more to try and keep the title..
One was BAD the other was WORSE..
Cant see Haskins keeping it Long

Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Dan Broadhurst should be first defense for Haskins. That would be a better fight, hopefully.
Unfortunatly Haskins just doesn't have the timing for his style, if you see what i mean.
Which makes for some messy fights.

Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
broadhurst would box haskins head off.
but warren won't make it will he.
he'll keep broadhurst defending the commonwealth for a few fights.
so predictable.

On the undercard I noticed Akaash Bhatia got a second round ko over Callaghan. I know Callaghan is not exactly an acid test but he's a tough so and so and this was Akaash's toughest opponent to date and he looks to have dealt with him easily....anyone see the fight?
Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Yeah. Akaash looked good. He's obviously not a huge puncher, but, by the same token, he's not feather fisted. Callaghan was no problem for Akaash.black panther wrote:On the undercard I noticed Akaash Bhatia got a second round ko over Callaghan. Would be good to hear what Marc made of Bhatia (he does post on here from time to time)
I have liked what I have seen of Bhatia to date although I used to think he looked a little lacking in the strength/power department - maybe I got that wrong?

Re: HASKINS VS BELL TONIGHT?
Reminded me Ian of when you try to catch a little kid in fun. You pretend a couple of times to make a grab then you try to surprise him by leaping forward. Maybe he should try this for his training. As you say his timing was way off and he telegraphed the move allowing the opponent to avoid his shot.Old bones Ian wrote:Dan Broadhurst should be first defense for Haskins.
