i think if we're talking ossie imports i think joe bugner would have to be there as hes been in with ali and fraser done the distance with some big bangers also even in the bruno fight when he was past his best getting a hammering he didn't quite johnny saved him like kosta

Kostya is hard to pick against mate. Joe was o.k. but KT was on a completely different level. he was the consumate professional boxer. many have used him as a role model in 'how to make it'. don't see that happening to Aussie Joe.

i'm not talking about ability i'm talking about toughness if kt has got better ability then he gets hit less which therefore doesn't make him as tough as someone soaking up the big ones like joe .as far as the kids go obviously i would rather them box like kt as apposed to joe the name of the game is hit and not get hit like kt

All good valid points. But what do we mean by toughest? Who can take the most punishment and march on? Who can consistently stay in top shape throughout ther career etc. Both are forms of "tough"

KT still for me. AJ is tough though no doubt.
